When departing Newcastle Airport check your passport as soon as you've booked your trip. Did you know the biggest reason that passengers are refused travel is that they turn up at the airport and their passport is out of date!
Adult's passports are valid for 10 years. Children's just 5 years.
Also passengers can be refused travel if their appearance has changed beyond recognition (in relation to the photo ((not applicable for children)). Or, if the passport is in a terrible condition and therefore could have been tampered with.
